Saddam had around 400 rockets and a couple thousand shells so technically, yes he 'had' WMDs and we went in and got them . Was it bogus? of course. Had he just followed a few simple rules like open access for inspectors and observed destruction of existing WMDs he may of survived you think? Nope. I was there, I went to this war. I went to the next one. I didn’t go because I believed there where WMDs in Iraq. I did not. I did not believe for one second Saddam had WMDs. Saddam was a piece of shit who invaded his neighbors for greed. For the next one In my arm of the military I believed we had to go there and fix George H.W. Bush and Gen. Schwartzkopz’s colossal fuck up. Schwarzkopf failed big time and I won’t forgive him for that. When I was flying in for the second time I was pissed off. All this ended when Obama said the Iraqi security forces are ready to take over (when all the US Army leaders where telling him NO! absolutely not!) ISIS rolled in and destroyed everything thing.
