This doesnt make sense to me. France has banned GMO crops. The reason why glyphosate is used so much in the US is because monsanto sells crop seeds that are GMO'd to be resistant to glyphosare. When glyphosate is sprayed on a field full of their gmo'd crops, the glyphosate kills every weed and plant in the field except for the gmo'd crop.

Since France has banned gmo crops then wtf are they using the glyphosate for?

Just to point out, in case people were unaware, Glyphosate has been banned in Europe as it is cancerous.

That's the thing. Glyphosate is still used for crop desiccation. People think glyphosate is only associated with GMO. No, it's also used as a desiccant, even for non-GMO crops, and of course this is something almost never mentioned.
