No. They were testing his knowledge of the Old Laws and he didn't fail. He didn't have 2 witnesses if I recall correctly.

ardvarcus

An advanced society, such as that which sustained the Roman Empire, is made up of countless components, all working together. It's engineering, farming, medicine, warfare, politics, law, schools, religion, roads, shipping, the bureaucracy. Once those components start to degrade, at some point everything just collapses to a lower sustainable level. As in, no sewers.

Today, in America, many once-paved highways have been turned back into gravel roads. It's a small thing, but significant. We used to be able to travel to the Moon. Not any more. We used to be able to cross the Atlantic by supersonic passenger jet. Not any more. Competence is falling in a wide spectrum of professions due to affirmative action, and the accompanying deliberate handicapping of whites and Asians. The universities are becoming liberal social clubs where no hard subjects are taught, because those non-whites and feminisits who make up the student body are not capable of handling it.

As I've pointed out many times on Voat, we are almost certainly in the process of entering a new Dark Age similar to the Dark Age that befell Europe after the decline and fall of the Roman Empire. It is a slow process, but the signs are there for those who wish to see them. IQ levels are dropping due to race mixing and a welfare system which promotes the children of the lowest intelligence groups in society, while penalizing children by high-intelligent groups. In a word, gentlemen, we are fucked. The only thing that might (and I think it is highly unlikely), I say might save the West is a rebirth of a militant form of Christianity. But few people can even comprehend why that is necessary.

hang_em_high

Rome created the aqueduct like 2000 years ago. Africans are still transporting water on top of their head while occasionally getting eaten by a crocodile.

Tb0n3

Jesus didn't come to abolish the laws of the Old Testament. That's the point of that line. And so you deny Christ by denying the truth of the word of God.

That word of God means lots and lots of genocide.

Tb0n3

Matthew 5:17-18

Tb0n3

You mean genocide of different faiths? In the bible? Are you fucking retarded? That's like half of it.

HarlandKornfeld14

The "Dark Age" happened due to a Grand Solar Minimum, the crop failures pushed barbarians into Rome and resulted in the Plague of Justinian. The strange weather events during the campaigns of Belisarius were likely the result of a major volcanic eruption.

Had these not happened, Belisarius and Justinian could've rebuild the Roman Empire somewhat.

ardvarcus

The fall of the Roman Empire had nothing to do with natural phenomena -- it was the result of the decadence of the Roman people, which caused corruption and a failure of will.

HarlandKornfeld14

You don't think the end of the Roman Warm Period had anything to do with it? These climactic changes caused barbarians to go on the move.

So okay, barbarians are invading Gaul, if the Romans were not decadent they might have some more heavily armored units at their disposal, and more reliable too because they aren't mercenaries. The problem is 1) they can still lose anyway, and once they do more barbarians will pour in when defenses crumble. 2) They will be dealing with famine in the safer parts of the Empire, which is bound to effect the logistics and manpower situation.

It would increase their odds of holding out, but t would be far from a guarantee.

Pllatinum

There was a mini ice age during the dark ages. Everything likely sucked and they could hardly grow anything.

UnknownCitizen

Something similar happened in Mexico during its Revolutionary War IIRC. Conservatives won over the liberals, think Zapata, and the population was literally decimated. Many many liberals were killed, who happened to be the teachers, doctors, educated elite and so on. What followed was a lot of disease, suffering and no quick way to rebuild due to the brain drain.

Vic_V

Makes you wonder how far back such a cycle might go, and how those in power destroy evidence of ancient history.

aileron_ron

And now that middle eastern muzzies are in control the streets are full of shit.

WhiteRonin

Earth has a history of culling intellectuals. We have megalithic stones and structures that are not repeated. Look at the great pyramid. Flat level ground stone with over 2 million stones on top creating a complex eight sided figure aligned to gps standards.

After time fell, Mediterranean commerce gets stopped and money that had paid for that infrastructure you talked about is no longer available. It could be that the knowledge wasn’t passed on. Or even if it had, the access to material no longer existed so the chance to build something never came about.

There could be another factor. The church quickly established itself and the intellectuals were shunned in favor of crude robs and piety. Because trade was limited, the Jewish Pope turned to tidings to amass money and the build out of great cathedrals which weakened any other type of ability to fund infrastructure. This is a simple method used to control “Barons” from gaining any amount of huge power. Later on the Jewish Pope created crusades to once again weaken the aristocracy that was growing which took money, fathers and older sons out of the system for years or for good. This left behind young or weak inheritors which could be influenced by those who preached the good book.

The 3 Musketeers is obviously fiction but look at how the Jewish Pope basically controlled France.

With this we start into PRE-modern history and how you read very little about the church telling people to stop fighting wars or even trying to broker peace bargains. Why would the Jewish Pope be afraid to do that? Or was it another money grab because they knew people would fill their pews and pockets.

What happened to the Library of Alexandria? Who really burned it down? Who kept and hid what ever survived the fire? Maybe it held great knowledge that if made it back into simple people’s hands would have meant te continuation of what the Romans had?!?

Like you, I have wondered why we could repeat at least the ability to build Roman homes and ended up building shitty wooden shanty fences around shanty towns.

ardvarcus

There could be another factor. The church quickly established itself and the intellectuals were shunned in favor of crude robs and piety.

No. That had nothing to do with the fall of the Roman Empire. Just the opposite, the rise of the Christian church slowed the collapse.

Tb0n3

Or Christianity forbade knowledge because it wasn't God's way. Look where that got us?

burns29

Ewwwwww!

VoatsNewfag

And then mass starvations and Illnesses lead to massive deaths. Those that are able to plan for the future, avoid bacteria and aren't naive survive.

Easy times breed weak men.

Weak men bring hard times.

Hard times breed strong men.

Strong men bring easy times.

Even as things go downhill we still have the easiest time as humans we ever had, so things are probably to become worse beyond our imagination.

kalgon

I have the feeling that an historical episode is missing in your analysis

Sure the fall of rome was followed by chaos, but I have the feeling that there's more than just the fall of rome, maybe this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_epidemics#Pre-1500

SeriousNiggerFaggot

Perhaps his historical analysis led the way to that?

a100167

The overwhelming amount of Roman cities/territories never had sewers either. The big cities did, the important trading hubs/ports did, but the vast majority didn't. Like most of the world, Europeans had to deal with waste just like everyone else whether they were part of the Roman empire or not. It's just that our important big cities where the first to have proper sewer systems.

Naught405

After the degenerates destroyed Russia in 1917, they executed all the intelligent russians.

That is a specific tenet and hallmark of Jewish Marxism. See: Khmer Rouge

WORF_MOTORBOATS_TROI

What do you think need sewer for, just go outside poo on the floor.

What do you think you're too good Pajeet, for the designated shitting street?

You just do what father do, and never ever put poo in loo

Elvichu

Same happened in Cambodia when the Khmer Rouge took over. All intellectuals and artists were murdered.

sore_ass_losers

Anyone with glasses, too.

ludwigvon

It wasn't called the dark ages for nothing

Conspirologist

The problem is that nobody explains why.

ludwigvon

It was a dark age for civilization. Humanity was set back 2000 years of progress, I'm sure that includes sewage collection among many other things.

Tb0n3

Christianity.

NorthernMan

You’re right. You should research all the knowledge the Christians destroyed. These low IQ whites will have to accept that their romanticized view of Christianity is false.

Christianity caused the dark ages and it wasn’t until the rediscovery of “pagan” knowledge and it being tolerated that the renaissance happened

Tb0n3

Scientific rigor is not a Pagan belief. The rest of the world held our knowledge while we floundered in blindness for an invisible god.

NorthernMan

Christians believed the world was flat, it was pagans who used a proto-scientific method to determine the world was round

What’s funny is the pagans upon being persecuted by the Christians declared humanity was entering a state of mental/intellectual darkness

Tb0n3

It's people that were pagans not Paganism that made the scientific discoveries. Just the same as every other religion there's no Truth in it.

NorthernMan

The point being paganism allowed scientific thought to exist and flourish while Christianity did not

draaaak

And yet, despite the reality of mordern sewage management, I still have never met an intelligent plumber.

Lordbananafist

Anywhere there's septic tanks there aren't sewers...

coopzy

It's more of an isolated system at that point. The feces is still managed instead of just going into the ditch.

sore_ass_losers

@Lordbananafist Septic tsnks need to get pumped out regularly and the contents usually get spread out on a farm field, so it's not much of a system.

Enigmatic_Continuum

That's not true. As long as you're adding live yeast or another form of good bacteria to the system monthly, you won't have a problem unless your drain field isn't working properly. If you're taking care of the system and there aren't any failures, empty the tank every 20 years or so.

sore_ass_losers

"The average septic tank system usually requires pumping every one to three years [source: EPA]."

Pumping Your Septic Tank: A Good Idea

How Stuff Works

https://home.howstuffworks.com/home-improvement/plumbing/septic-tank-cleaning1.htm

Enigmatic_Continuum

That article isn't touching on a few variables such as how many people live in the home, do the have guests frequently, do they have a separate drain for the laundry... Essentially, if you have a small household, don't allow bleach into your septic tank, and treat the tank monthly, 2-3 years is way too often. It's ok though. We can agree to disagree.

JastheMace

That's BS. If you are getting pumped every 1-3 years you have a problem.

Lordbananafist

Hey goddamnit... he said "sewers"

Words fucking matter

sore_ass_losers

It's not clear why you even brought septic tanks into this discussion, of the fall of Rome:

"The septic tank system is believed to have originated in the country of France. John Mouras is credited for inventing the septic tank system on or around the year 1860."

History of the Septic Tank System

https://www.newtechbio.com/articles/history_of_the_septic_system.htm

sore_ass_losers

He said sewers and you said septic tanks, so what? Septic tanks are modern and require pumps. Back in early days they had cesspits which were shoveled out periodically.

solvire

Do you have a point? Are you suggesting there will be a culling of the intelligent classes?

Conspirologist

I am saying it already happened everywhere, in Europe and at the end even in Russia. There are no more intelligent people in power positions, they are all brainless slaves of degenerates. You are on your own. Average people will never understand this, and will continue to take it in the ass until death.

qwop

What we have is a kakistocracy:

A kakistocracy (/ˌkækɪsˈtɒkrəsi, -ˈstɒk-/) is a system of government which is run by the worst, least qualified, or most unscrupulous citizens.

Conspirologist

The government is run by demented judeo-satanists. In XXI century they still fuck their brains since birth.
