Only two??

Vaccinations for no reason are foolish, especially in the cases of non-fatal diseases. But even for serious diseases, your chances of catching the disease are low in Western nations. The people pushing the vaccines tell us we should get them for the greater good -- so that the disease will be kept low in society and others won't catch it somewhere in the future. I say, fuck the greater good. I won't get vaccinated because I don't need to get vaccinated now and to do so is to run risks that I don't need to take.

NotTheMeanest

They rely on the 'herd immunity' and 'unvaccinated kids spread disease' propaganda to get the masses to self-police - provaxxers are RABID. Just like they are programmed to be.

rndmvar

Samoa made the right choice.

carlip

sometimes you're better off risking the disease. I'd probably always take a polio though. the rest, eh.

NotTheMeanest

Nah, not worth it.

I'd rather try my luck with smallpox than the vaccine.

carlip

why worry about smallpox when you can just get cowpox real quick and be naturally immune to smallpox?

NotTheMeanest

I’m definitely not worried about smallpox! Or cowpox. Or any pox really, except maybe pox on my house haha

CowWithBeef

Measles and mumps don't kill people, and rubella only really harms the unborn babies of infected mothers. 2 deaths over this vaccine should give pause to anyone who vaccinates for the well-being of their children. It's not a certainty that your kid is better off vaccinated. Just ask these 2 dead kids.

Thetiedyeguy

Ask dead kids? What are you? Some kind of necromancer? But in all seriousness, vaccines against diseases like flu are dumb, great way to be protected against last years flu virus antigens and have no resitance against this years ones while paying big farma for the luxury. But measles and mumps probably wont kill you but will often enough do permenant damage, mumps will do deafness, infertility and heart damage, measles dose imune supression like aids light so somthing lse kills you, both will cause misscarriage, meningitus, encephelitus and mild annoyance, leaving survivers brain damaged. Ask a kid with brain damage if he would have liked a vaccine, probably get drooled on, yuck.

CowWithBeef

I'm pretty those are rare complications to rare diseases which would put them at a similar probability to dying from the vaccine.

Thetiedyeguy

They're rare diseases beause of vacines though, before that nationwide epidemcs, leaving 10s of thousands of casualties in their wake were reasonably common from a worldwide perspective. Having issues because of vaccines gets alot of press becuse they happen in western nations, but aren't that common, issues from preventable diseases happen in shithole countries, so only talked about for free gibs and guilt, but much more common.

NotTheMeanest

No. You are regurgitating propaganda. The diseases were decreasing BEFORE the vaccines - they just don't show the mortality/morbidity stats from the 1900's in the propaganda.

No vaccine is tested for carcinogenic potential, despite containing known carcinogens. Most don't test whether they affect sterility or can cause your genes to mutate. Clause 13.1 on the insert - except the Varivax one, that skips right over clause 13 and goes from 12 to 14, okaaaaay then.

Vaccine propaganda is emotive and provokes fear based reactions. Spend a couple of hour researching the actual diseases and their causes, symptoms, treatments etc and then maybe wonder why all the other diseases (without vaccines) don't engender the same fear.

GARDASIL (HPV)

PAGE 13 13.1 GARDASIL has not been evaluated for the potential to cause carcinogenicity or genotoxicity.

INFANRIX (DTap)

PAGE 15 13.1 INFANRIX has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential, or for impairment of fertility.

PENTACEL (DTaP)

PAGE 22 13.1 Pentacel has not been evaluated for carcinogenic or mutagenic potential or impairment of fertility.

Here’s an interesting one, clause 13 has been completely omitted! Does that seem right to you?? It’s left out of the contents as well - just 12 followed by 14...
