Thank you for this post. These people are disgusting. I posted on the most recent admin AMA asking why they weren't shadowbanned since they brigade reddit and other sites and stated that I could post proof. Not long after I was banned from their subreddit. I guess they don't want me taking screenshots.

The planet doesn't need saving, our human race does.

Can I add the hefty price tag associated with GMOs. Millions of dollars spent per approved genetic splice that could be used to revamp ineffecient distribution systems or teaching poverty-stricken farmers how to cultivate native perrenial polycultures that produce abundance.

Bill Nye is an idiot. You don't opppse or support GMO crops. You evaluate each genetically modified organism for it's own risks and merits.

I do my best to shift this innane dispute over organic vs. GMO industrial monoculture to the obvious solution of perrenial polycultures.

So? He can support them if he wants, after all, that is where the money is. How about just labeling everything properly. That is the simpler way. But wait, consumers would be able to make self empowering decisions. Can't have that now can we.
