Why bother now when you have survived the trauma/initiation and are reaping the benefits. I used to love Uma Thurman and now I think she can get fucked. She made the choice to trade whatever for her fame and that is fine but don't pretend you aren't complicit after that. At least :( drew barrymore was a kid and didn't really have the same choices available

I agree, but the thing that bothers me is they KNOW that those predators are still doing it to other children. When they decide not to speak up, staying silent for money and fame, knowing they could stop others from being hurt it makes them complicit too. She's been an adult for a long time now. I think we have responsibilities to our community and fellow humans.
