Was An Wang a Chinese spy? ( conspiracy )

submitted 2018-08-06T00:12 by Diogenes_The_Cynic

You read a little about this guys life and you might come to the same conclusion as me. The Chinese government sent Wang to the U.S. and even handed him detailed jnstructions on how to make magnetic core memory functional. But everything that happened after that was a tar baby situation neither country could control. The Chinese were probably not aware of the value of his value as a legitimate genius and only wanted him as a spy. The U.S. was aware of his spying but struggled to find a way to make him useful to them. The multiple bankruptcies he experienced were just the 2 sides trying to play the situation to their benefit after everything grew beyond their influence. Wang wasnt going to go back to China but he couldn't be shut down in the U.S. without the government showing their hand.
