Yup, and the genetics of these groups (berbers, basques, etc) indicate that they were “indigenous” Europeans, whereas the vast majority of other Europeans originated somewhere in the East and migrated West. These different groups of Europeans both fall under the R1b Y-haplogroup so they are still somehow related.
