They always say that... Its a protestant idea that the 3rd temple will be rebuilt, Julian the Apostate tried it and it didn't end well for him. The Catholic idea is the St. Peter's is the new Temple of God (because teh Church is the new Israel), and a false offering will happen there (not on the Temple Mount), also this already happened.
