I'm deeply ashamed the ACLU ran this ad. It historically favoured due process of law and evidence in trials.

I'm NOT saying Ford was lying. She may have very well been assaulted. Unfortunately, people have cried, with compelling testimony, before congress ... remember, "They took the babies from the incubators," justified the first Iraqi war and turned out to be completely false.

The ACLU does have two arms and only one is 501(c)(3); the foundation is not exempt and they are allowed to lobby. But they use to lobby for basic civil liberties.

If they wanted to attack Kavanaugh it should have been for several of his rulings and stances that are pro-patriot act, pro-surveillance and anti-constitutional. Attack him for the work he's about to do that is going to fuck things up for everyone; not an un-coroborated assault accusation.
