Is Twitter verifying fake conservative accounts? And what's their end game? ( conspiracy )

I suspect Twitter is verifying fake accounts. Maybe I'm late to the party and everyone already knows they do this.

The two Twitter accounts listed below are both verified and both purporting to be conservatives and pro-Trump. These accounts have tens of thousands of followers and follow just as many.

They came to my attention for [a reason that would dox me] and I found it odd so I decided to check out the website links in their profiles.

So this guy has a website that seems to be fake. At first glance it looks legitimate and full of content. But once you start clicking on his menu options they take you to 404 error messages, pages with lorem ipsum, and one page - the one talking about PR - looks like he might have just copied and pasted an explanation of what PR means (from Wiki or somewhere). The front page of the site has blog posts - ALL dated 7th July 2018.

The other Twitter user is https://twitter.com/RyanAFournier but I think this one might be more legit.

At first I thought this was a strategy being employed by the Republicans to follow as many people as possible. But after checking out Chuck's website I think these are fake accounts.

It wouldn't surprise me if Twitter is verifying fake accounts. Has this been exposed before?

They are building controlled opposition to attempt to narrow the overton window in their favor and cast actual right leaning folks as radicals.

Assuming they are fake, what does Twitter gain from verifying fake conservative accounts? I guess they create the accounts, grow the following, then expose them as Russian bots or something.

Imagine verified conservatives calling for the death of democratic protesters or illegal immigrants in the name of Trump support or some shit. They get to make big headlines for MSM about how terrible we are.

I already told you, controlled opposition. They will say the things liberals want conservatives to say, and in pretending to be conservative will sabotage the right by imposing PC faggotry and pro israel kikery and all manner of support for degenerate leftism and sow defeatism, these are meant to be Judas Steers.
