Meanwhile we have hoax bombs being distributed in an apparent attempt to make the right look violent and stupid. Left-leaning media says Trump is "not allowed to call for unity" as their supporters call for their enemies to be shot freely on Twitter. We've got troops ready to guard the border, shit's about to get real.

On Amazon there are cases of official US Military MRE's for sale for about ~80 a case, works out to about $6.50 a meal. They can last 10+ years if stored properly and contain ~1300 calories a meal. Probably not the most cost effective disaster food, but definitely the most tasty imo

idk how many bullets you have in total but real life shootouts usually involve very little actual shooting.

People who stock up like 10k bullets are living in a rambo dream world imo, you could prob survive 10 years with only 500 bullets for self defense, and probably not even use a 5th of them. Although they can be used for trades. But everyone's going to have bullets cause that's all everyone thinks about.

I bet things like salt & pepper, toilet paper, rice & beans, toothbrushes etc will become intrinsically more valuable in a shtf situation.

Funny enough, I actually grew up near one of those rivers. It used to be large enough to run steamboats, but after dredging, diversion, and flood control, it's not even deep enough to kayak without scratching the shit out of your boat.
