Sciency

This reeked of unsubstantiated BS the first time it was posted , and I still haven't seen any real evidence.

Dose ANYONE have actual info on this? Because, while totally possible, "hackers" is pretty much 100% un-sourceable, which is pretty convenient if the goal is disinfo.

As I mentioned in the origional posting:

I'm really not trying to be a downer here, but do you have some evidence or a source for that claim?

This could be anyone with 1000 bucks of props and a cellphone camera. And on that topic, who scrubbed the sound? I've not seen a cellphone camera/webcam in the last 7 years that couldn't take audio and 480p video...

Charlie_Prime

What kind of "evidence" are you talking about?

Sciency

I realize this isn't helpful to you, but I have no clue.

I just need something that at least suggests that this video is actually depicting what the title suggests. I would have no room to argue/question anything if the title and user themself made no claims.

nokilli

Well, all these videos, including the ones from ISIS, are pretty much 100% un-sourceable, so I while I agree we should be skeptical, we should be skeptical about all of these videos.

samtrovaum

No one has info. This sub is being polluted with esquizofrenic deniers that think simulations are real and real videos are faked.

CainesFirstLaw

Yeah let's just ignore the fact that all these ISIS videos magically happen to land in the hand's of known zionist group, SITE, which magically gets these ISIS videos before any government intel agency.

Or the Hollywood production values, with dozens of cuts, HD video, post-production effects etc.

I have an invisible bridge to sell, if you buy into that garbage.

samtrovaum

You buy someone elses garbage. How does that make you any better?

samtrovaum

Stage this: http://www.bestgore.com/execution/isis-video-truckloads-men-lead-to-slaughter-execution/ [NSFL]

Can't we stop with the stupid? ISIS is killing people.

forgetmyname

Its funny, without watching the video you link to, and considering the text at that link, yours could just as well be a staged video. I assume "baby14" is noble prophet edward snowden too?

ISIS has released a new video titled “And Kill Them Wherever You Overtake Them“. The central theme of the video are mass executions. Literally, truckloads of men are shown being lead to their slaughter, hundreds are shown being executed.

The video acts an an anniversary release combining the new, and archival footage of 1,700 Iraqi soldiers killed last year in Kirkuk. Archival footage includes the revisit of mass executions on the banks of the Tigris River.

That youth at 14:22 told the mujaheddin that he was a Sunni. They asked him to pray the way Sunnis do, which he was unable to do. First, they asked him to perform Athaan – the call to prayer. He started convincingly, but messed it up toward the end. He also failed to place his hands on his chest after the first “Allahu Akbar“, which is what Sunnis do, so they concluded that was enough to kill him.

At 2:24, the video shows the downing of an Iraqi helicopter with a MANPAD. Images of a bulldozer pushing piles of dead bodies into a pit at 20:00 look very much like what Jews and their lapdogs did to the victims of their aggression during WWII.

Props to Best Gore member Baby14 for the video:

samtrovaum

You quoted the video text. Great debunking. LOL

"just as well be a staged video", and you could well have an IQ below 10. I'd go with the latter.

OrangeKraken

No one is arguing otherwise.

The question is if these fake looking beheading videos are actually fake.

ISIS is funded by the US, they're still killing people. Should we ignore the fact that they're funded by the US? Most will, since they're killing people and they're completely blinded by propaganda.

The only way to stop the propaganda is to actually recognize it. People who dismiss it entirely make everything a lot more difficult.

samtrovaum

What difference does it make? Fake ISIS fake killing, real ISIS real killing. ISIS is funded by the US, but faking a video when they are IN FACT killing people is ridiculous.

durrr let's go on a studio and fake a beheading because the real beheaders are out watching a movie durrrr

A_Scanner_Darkly

Easy enough to kill Syrian when they are in Syria. More difficult would be catching an American citizen like"James Foley" to execute.

deathcomesilent

The worst-case implications are propaganda, and war usually follows if (and only if) it is a government creating the propaganda.

For this reason alone it's worth looking into, but not giving credence to, until proof is shown.

samtrovaum

There are dozens of videos os ISIS butchering people, then 1 video of someone simulating a scene, therefore they were all fake. Brilliant logic. Let's say cars are fake because they are shown in movies, and movies are fake, therefore cars are fake.

deathcomesilent

You wouldn't recognize "brilliant logic" if she gave you a bathroom handy and sent you a picture the next day.

See, I can talk nonsense too, and it takes a whole lot less effort than thinking critically.

Props though, it's pretty hard mess up the A=B=C =/= D argument in the first variable!

samtrovaum

You see some random video, and assume because of 1 video they are all fake. Pure genius. Suck it, Einstein.

richard_m_lurkmoar

No one is saying they are all fake - just the high profile beheading videos

The recruitment videos have a very different style, and they all show ISIS killing Arab civilians, never cutting away from the violence

The beheading videos are strangely lit, with an English-speaking executioner, Gitmo-style prison jumpsuits, and high profile Western victims - they cut away from the violence

There is a clear difference
