"acute flaccid myelitis" Holy shit. True story.

Sometime recent, I think it was 'conspiratologist" guy, I see him post alot...

Posted a incident tracking map of some sort, I forget the url, I made a joke about paranoia and began browsing it over (found rabies nearby and lol'ed a bit). I scanned the map some, saw epidemic ratings on East coast, got a little paranoid, all childrens hospitals....

Then I saw it was only 1-2 (at 3 seperate east coast hospitals, all childrens) each one was "acute flaccid myelitis" but still only 1-2 kids at each, so not epidemic levels, only epidemic disease I told myself, quelling my conspiracy bone.

Now I see this, scroll frantically downwards... there it staring at me "acute flaccid myelitis".

Fuckery afoot?

CDC officials have pledged to do more to notify doctors to look for possible cases and to more thoroughly review cases from years past for further clues.

Of course they will look every which way, except at vaccines.
