Avenatti is connected to Stormy Daniels, and as such is connected to the NXIVM cult. He is a brainwashed cult peon, just like Stormy. He is a victim of MK Ultra (or similar) cultist mind control programming.

White hats within the US govt. have become aware of his programming, as well as the black project mind control technologies, and have decided to use this corrupt tech against those who have employed it in the past.

The govt. mind controlled Avenatti to beat that woman, then wiped his memory of the event. In his mind, he really believes that he did nothing wrong. But in reality, he is guilty as sin, and doesn't even know it, because of his programming. He is a posessed NPC now.
