I am leaning towards this new Greenland Crater being what started the Pleistocene not what ended it... I admit it's possible while the ice was melting the land was exposed, but it seems more likely that it happened before the ice was ever there during the latest ice age. The crater doesn't look like it was formed when there was ice... at the last I know for sure this was not the same piece of comet that hit Saginaw bay, it would have been an irregular impact shape.
