You have cause and effect reversed here.

Government brutality is the Foundation of Corporate Capitalism.

Proof? Look at the Microsoft lawsuit of the 1990s. A single company had no interest whatsoever in anything but making software. They had one afterthought lobbyist. Then the government jumped in and said "play ball, or we're going to rule that browsers can't be shipped with operating systems."

Now Microsoft's lobbying arm is huge, enormous energies that could be going into making software instead goes into "pleasing politicians."

The cause and effect is clear here. If you run an honest business and get big, expect the mafia to stroll in and say "nice place you got here, be a shame if something were to happen to it."

fascism is the merger of the corporate business interests and the state. That's exactly what has been happening in the US in recent decades.

A quote often misattributed to Mussolini. Under a fascist system "corporations" serve the state. What we have in America is the state serving the corporations.

I believe the correct term would be "Corporatism", but you're absolutely correct on everything else.

Empire_of_the_mind

while the definition is often muddled and complicated this one, from Wikipedia, should sound familiar:

"nationalist authoritarian goals of creating a regulated economic structure to transform social relations within a modern, self-determined culture; and a political aesthetic of romantic symbolism, mass mobilization, a positive view of violence, and promotion of masculinity, youth and charismatic leadership"
