When you are a US Government CORPORATION that has successfully tricked it's population into thinking the things like the Constitution and the rule of law still exist almost 86 years after the Government is officially absolved in a bankruptcy , you need fancy mechanisms like private-sector companies to do the dirty work so you can absolve any responsibility for those pesky Constitutional rights the citizens think they have by just blaming the technology monopolies while failing to enforce any antitrust actions against them.
