Could smart meters be to blame for the weird patterns of fires in California? ( conspiracy )

Smart meters most likely have some kind of unique identifier, and power distributors know more or less where each has been installed. Perhaps a few were mixed up, or some were swapped in repairs. Then: hey, let's make a crisis by burning specific areas! The result: burned out houses in groups, with one or two elsewhere, and houses alone - not vegetation - left in ashes.

you could be on to something here.

but where there are houses there are Cars too.. with a hot exhaust and filled to the brim with combustible oils. the cars alone could have fueled the fire. the wind carried the heat from the cars exhaust into the brush and made it burn.

my theory is they put flammables into unattended cars exhausts, the cars left a trail of gasoline and the whole road started on fire from the heat of the cars exhaust. or some rogue mechanics put flammables into the engine.

The fires were setup by a decade of retarded vegetation management, which was the root cause of the size.

They intentionally enacted regulations that allowed the dead material to accumulate, and even prevented private property owners from removing it to keep their homes safe.
