There is so much we do not know about this technology, and the 5G industry is certainly not going to tell us. They are slippin' Sally through the alley, while mumbling something about, "Don't worry. It's good for you." When any industry says that, watch out. Thanks.

It sounds very sinister, but dark fiber seems to be an industry term used for fiber optic cable that is currently unused.

The 5G bandwidth requirements will need all the dark fiber it can get its hands on, but much more infrastructure will need to be built in the end. It seems this process is already running, as is shown in the video. Roads and sidewalks will need to be cut up, or new cables put up on poles.

This is a massive industry that is already running on full steam it seems.
$$$ to be made, and nothing is allowed to come in the way.
