I just started researching this tonight after someone on twitter said we should boycott Chris Rock because he's going to be performing in Israel on his upcoming Total Blackout Tour. I had seen a picture of him while researching other celebrity replacements that did arouse suspicion, but the tweet I got tonight was the trigger to dive in.

I also believe this was the speech that killed him. There were no black nominees that year for a reason - and that was to paint white people as bad people. The real Chris wasn't down with that. Replaced or not, I have zero respect for black man who would perform in Israel. Does he not know what Jews think of black people? Or that they were the main players in the slave trade?
