The west coast from California to Alaska has lots of former Indian villages from thousands of years ago. Some out-of-place Chinese artifacts have been discovered as well, possibly from early trading. One Canadian tribe has Hawaiian DNA, possibly from a lots fishing expedition or something. There is plenty left to be discovered in archaeology!

At first I was like cool, but then I got to thinking. That was a very small hole, and they seem to precisely pick a spot with artifacts in it? They must be very lucky, digging in such a small spot with such success! I don't know, if I were that lucky I would dig for gold. Just an observation, something seems fishy.

There are a lot of non-intrusive geophysical methods you could use to narrow the area of the dig, they probably did that, such as radar or EM methods.

Very cool! There’s so much more to our history then we realize. The few tools that they showed were beautiful. That’s just one small square. Who knows what else they might find!
