its the iron ore mining. they dig out the iron from the earth, and turn it into cars that drive around the world. the cars now hold the earths magnetic field, if all cars and ships of the world drove to one side of the earth simultaneously, the pole would shift in an instant. the worlds iron is distributed well and iron is both in the atmosphere, inside of mammalian bodies and inside of unexpected materials, it is distributed all over. but actual iron ore and iron infused earths represent a large majority of the earths iron content, as we are now noticing the magnetic shift, it shows that the ores effect on the earth magnetism is considerably large.
