They don’t know why? It’s a natural occurrence ffs and we’re well overdue. I’m a layman and I know that much. Sheesh...

Le_Squish

Pole reversal is coming and we have no idea how life copes with it but as far as I remember, reversals aren't associated with mass extinctions. We should probably prepare our descendents for a few decades without a magnetosphere.

HarlandKornfeld14

How can you not have a magnetosphere? What would it be like without it?

Le_Squish

We don't know. We have no idea what the increased exposure to space radiation does to life on earth on a genetic level when magnetic field is weak to non-existent. We just know that it weakens, disappears and then reappears flipped and it can happen in a human life time. Last flip was around 40k years ago. Might not be a coincidence that the caucasian/asian split happen around this time as well as the final decline of the Neanderthals.

moxiecotton

If the last flip was indeed 40k years ago, then I'd wager that the pyramids are 40k years old. Since I was a child, any time people would talk about what a impossible task it was to move those giant pyramid stones, I'd always reply - not if they weighed less.

TeddyJackson

Global warming is a distraction from real problems like this. I think tptb know collapse is coming soon.

Oh_Well_ian

so... the magnetic North Pole has migrated closer to the geographic North Pole

We all realize our iron core is molten, right?

Scientists can't figure out the 'why'?

Nanoonanoo

molten iron core, curie point?

YoHomie

So what?

TeddyJackson

Another obvious Alpha user shill. Fuck off jew.

HarlandKornfeld14

Well, all of a sudden the magnetic pole of the earth is moving towards Siberia a lot faster than it used to. The magnetic field of the Earth is also getting weaker. So a lot of changes are happening.

TheFritoBandito

Researching the Electric Universe theory, the speed of the movement is parabolic so it will eventually peak at mid-shift, then start to slow down again as it settles. Things will certainly start to get even more interesting soon; crazy weather patterns, earthquakes, etc.

I think the biggest concern is the increase in solar and cosmic radiation as the magnetosphere continues to weaken. This is why I don't believe in the man-made, CO 2 global warming nonsense. When you factor in the increased solar radiation making it to surface and oceans, these insane heat waves and temperature shifts start to make sense. Very few in the scientific community will even take a look at the EU theory or consider it. Climate scientists will go to their graves clutching to the man-made global warming (anthropogenic global warming) theory because Neil deGrasse Tyson and Bill Nye said so.

I can't guarantee it, but certainly would bet that the powers that be know exactly what's going on. But us, the plebes, are kept in the dark. Gotta get those carbon taxes in place and "An Inconvenient Trilogy" out there on the market for the mindless masses.

YoHomie

Like I said; so what?

HarlandKornfeld14

The magnetic field around the earth is becoming weaker, while at the same time the sun is becoming more volatile. Due to the Grand Solar Minimum, our sun is more likely to throw off a solar a flare, while the earth has less natural protection to defend against it.

BoraxTheFungarian

Go look up how many super colliders are on the earth in operation... It might be interesting to map their locations and actual operating times against their location and see how it correlates to the magnetic changes.

YoHomie

Yeah, about as interesting as watching paint dry.

theoldones

polar shift

Fambida

Just hope it's not a collapse/reversal.
