I bought his books in the late 90s early 2000's. He first came out as a christ in the uk after a succesful tv and soccer career and he's stuck with it. I think he has explained it as not being christ but a christ. I thinj terry wogan is regretful of the mocking nature of his treatment of david. He clearly had some traumatic revelatory experience and has been trying to make sense of it ever si ce whilst telling the world. Or maybe he's a clever charlatan tapping into always the current zeitgeist.
