I've always been distrustful of the JFK assassination so I was always partly there. Things that happened during the Clinton administration took it to the next level (secrets to China, all the sex in the Oval Office and associated lies, and rape accusations) and then when the Catholic Church released some bogus Secret of Fatima I knew for sure we weren't in Kansas anymore. The next level happened on 9/11 which I knew on day 1 was an inside job.

For me it was witnessing a murder in Michigan by a group of individuals. This murder was covered up to the core. I spent 4 and a half years in a state of constant Hell due to harassment, intimidation, etc. for simply expressing what I saw that day. So for me, i needed that "wake up" moment.

When you witness the murder of an American citizen by blackmailed puppets of a foreign country, and your government tells you that NOTHING can be done, its a matter of national security, well if that's not a wake up call i don't know what is.

9/11, I was pulled out of school after it happened. I remember my teacher interrupted class to roll in a tv to "show us something that will live with us forever." I was called to the office as my teacher was setting up the tv she had rolled in. My parents were there and were calling me out of school half way through the day. On the drive home, it was revealed to me that the twin towers and pentagon were "attacked" by unknown assailants. I was fairly young at this time and when we got home to watch the news coverage. #7 was to fall and "car bombs" were going off in Chicago and other major metro areas.

At the time I didn't understand the gravity of the situation or implications. Since I was born, all I had known was that my country has been at external conflict. Through standardized education and self education I discovered that the last attack on US territory was pearl harbor. Which had occurred almost 60 years prior. Kind of a red flag considering when you dig in to 12/7/41 you find either complete incompetence or complacency. Either way unjust to those who have to suffer at the hands of only a group less than your "Local unincorporated township of population: unknown" Examples of those victims are at the hand of my tax dollars unintentionally and those that willfully choose not to listen to their intuition.

While young, and lacking the critical thinking skills I have now to formulate my own independent perspective. I never fully believed what the news was saying off the bat. You can lie to children, and though they may not realize it at the moment. They will know something is off. There's so much info out now that if you take an hour or so of time to research on your own. It will seem less and less believable.
