Funny enough, the vaccine came out at almost exactly the same time that they supposedly linked HPV to cervical cancer and determined that they could eradicate it with the vaccine (along with a huge media push to educate people on that stuff). That was part of why it concerned me so much from day one. There was no history for the vaccine in the wild and suddenly it was not only imperative that girls get it but boys too. Seemed way too much like companies creating a market and getting government to force people to enter it. My daughters were at the age where this was being talked about as a required vaccine (both were around 9/10 when the media push started in earnest in 2006/2007 and my wife and I both thought it prudent to turn down the offer from our physician). One thing to remember is that most countries seem to have approved it under fast-track or expedited review, meaning that they quickly approved it normal due diligence because the condition it treats is extremely serious. Reports of death and very serious complications seem to have pushed to the side and ignored because this is seen as an issue that impacts women mostly and would be sexist to question.

Bullshit. I thought it was the fluoride.

Veggiehead

Hmm almost like that's the plan?

Interesting. I am for certain vaccines for certain easily communicable diseases that have high mortality rates (polio for example), but this one has always concerned me.

TeddyJackson

It does not have a high mortality rate. The medical definition of polio changed when the vaccine came out.

In 1950's in one year polio killed 3,000 and probably permanently crippled another 3,000 if not more. 6,000 kids out of 58,000 either died or had life long crippling injuries. In one year. So that's about 1 in 10 either died or were crippled for life. Pretty high rate.

in new york alone in 1916 26,000 kids got infected. 6,000 died probably another 6,000 crippled for life. In one city... So in that outbreak about HALF of all infected either died or had life long injuries from it. That's is a nightmarish rate of mortality/permanent impairment.

There is a lot of evidence that the paralysis and death was caused by other things than polio, like arsenic based pesticides and DDT.

Everyone's nerve cells and the myelin sheathing around them is the same. The idea that a virus would invade everyone but only attack the nervous system of a small percentage is silly in my opinion.

Dr. Suzanne Humphries has a really good video about this on youtube.

You should watch the presentation below. The public has not been told the full story about what really caused polio, nor on what made it disappear.
