That ad campaign is truly some bizzaro world gaslighting shit. Lived in D in the 90's. Knew several guys who worked on DIA and all of them had stories about secret off limits areas, secret tunnels, etc. The most common story I heard back then was that there was a tunnel going from DIA to Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD HQ west of Colorado Springs).
