If this is really true then it is time to use VeePN. Anonymity and security when using the Internet is generally a very important component. I certainly hope that this is not true and it will be possible to continue using Voat without vpn, but you need to be prepared for everything.

Hah! Archive.is, where you can get evidence without authorities help! Hopefully 8ch, voat, and alternative tech folks will get together to make a VPN that is 100% not a honeypot!

How to do this: 1) Make easy procedure to pay for virtual hosting without using your credit card (i.e. accepts payments in crypto). Also host must not keep logs. 2) Make how-to guide for deployment of docker container with openvpn software 3) documentation on setup. 4) hopefully host is in various regions/countries.

With this, anyone can reproduce the quality of something like NordVPN, but with more certainty & control. It should be easier to do, however, as per the above instructions.
