With Interstellar, the government is trying to spin its lie for a new generation.

I was with you til this part. Isn't the point of that (nasa) video to show that we haven't been to the moon? IF that's the case, how is interstellar spinning a lie?

Another random point: anyone old enough to remember the original fantastic four comics/cartoons will remember their origin story. . "Cosmic rays" cause their problems. '61 is when fantastic four was released, which was coincidentally the same year that the Apollo missions were initiated. My point in all that being, Stan Lee (or whomever it was that came up with those comics) saw these issues a full 7-8 years before man left earth orbit.

Also, this was the first man in space. He died in a plane crash 7 years later, and was immediately cremated.

It's a little unclear how far out from earth this rad-field is, so I can't say if orbiting earth is enough to pass through it, or if you have to leave earth orbit to find it. Either way, it is worth noting that the first American in space died in '92 of leukemia. Cancer kind of fits with the radiation issues, imo.
