Do you seriously believe that the government arranged the shooting in order to implement gun control? Do you think that this is the only instance of shooting in the US and if not, how many school shootings have been reported in the US in the past 10 years? How come school shootings never happen in countries with no easy access to guns like Sweden? Easy access to guns = very likely school shootings. I'm baffled, I'd just love to hear your reasoning here.

Also, not sure if you've seen this before. Less than 12 hours after the Newtown massacre, Michael Bloomberg was already planning and scheming on how to remove guns from this country. Keep in mind he had nothing to do with Connecticut gov't when he was writing these emails.

No, I'm not saying the federal gov't arranged it. It's easy enough to see a kid like this put warning signs out and then just don't do anything about it.

Contrary to popular belief, it's not easy to legally get a gun here. I own a handful of guns bought locally and online and had to get a background check on all of them. The vote coming up is to close "loopholes" which will prevent private sales and go as far as prevent lending your own gun to a relative without a fee and background check.

Also, go further back than 10 years...if anything laws have been created which make it more difficult (or next to impossible) to own a gun in some places. Where were all of these mass shootings back then? Why all of the sudden is it a huge issue in this country? What's the difference between this country and elsewhere where guns are also readily available yet no school shootings?
