I should probably make a thread of my own for this some time but I've been digging around and it seems that youtube and maybe google at large has taken a new tact to fighting dissenting speech on their platforms. First element, they are handing the keys to comment deletion and possibly a simplified tool for scrubbing "hate" dislikes off a video ranking to "trusted" content creators like rooster teeth and various advertisers.

The Second thing they seem to have going is a comment scrambler, it comes in and edits your posts by swapping and removing words, not to censor your sentiment but to make it appear as though people who make comments about the wrong things are demonstrably mentally deficient. There would have to be AI involved in this but I don't know if the AI edits posts on command or when it catches key phrases, I'm still trying to discover key phrases that might trigger the AI.
