It is only goal post shifting. Like the Japanese discovering bacteria that will eat plastics. Britain Encyclopedia's from the 80's list green house gases (remember those?) in double quotes; so-called "green-house gases."

They still mock us now.

This is common knowledge in most European countries.

Zero emissions from electric cars are thought to be beneficial in urban areas because of the pollution from particles when burning fuels.

The hope is, that renewable energy sources one day will become cheap enough for the consumer and the environmental damage from producing wind&wave energy somehow gets acceptable.

Problem is, that the energy needed to convert technology from worlds fossil fuel consumption and into something environmental friendly, will fry the planet long before the ambitious goal would be reached.

Furthermore, 80% of the amount of co2 a car in its lifetime produces, comes from the production only. The rest from driving its owner from A to B.

Be friendly to your environment - drive as long as you can in an old fossilzipper..

Even more grotesque, when driving electric, you replace your car as you would do with your laptop or phone - when battery dies. And nobody want's to buy your 5 year old electric because of absolute technology.

Worst part is, that co2 has nothing to do with "global warning" or "climate change" cause it's a fucking hoax..

Sigh..

It's what some of us here, who know the score, have been saying for years. "Green" energy pollutes far more than coal, oil or natural gas.

Depends on the energy source. If gen 4 nuclear becomes common, replacing gasoline burning cars with electric cars is far better on air quality.

I'm wondering what the case would be if "green" had the same infrastructure as fossil. Meaning 1 for 1, world could flip the switch go green or fossil, which would dump more carbon (assuming carbon is the issue) into the biosphere. I cant see how green would continue to contribute to the issue once the infrastructure is in place.

Its just one thing in the debate...hardly destroys it.

If all the environmental damage is being to 3rd world shit holes....who cares !
