Bill Cooper said he saw this with his own eyes, as far as I remember. He was in the US Navy with a high clearance. This was easily 50 years ago by now. I believe he said it plunged right into the ocean as if the water wasn't there.

Oh, for fuck's sake, is anyone stupid enough to believe this dreck? You don't "reduce the mass" of an aircraft. We don't know how to control gravity. If you believe this stuff, you probably think the Earth is flat, and that nobody walked on the surface of the Moon. Hell, you probably think the Twin Towers were brought down by planted explosive charges.

what like an atom-thick layer of vacuum? would this reduce any friction? it would even increase the friction and drag. it certainly wont reduce the mass, it could affect the inertia if it wasnt a static vacuum, just like firing the propellant does, fired in a given direction.
