toobaditworks

Anyone want to create a forum for these sort of posts. It seems there's plenty of post everyday of people complaining about moderators. It really doesn't fit with the general idea of this conspiracy forum. Maybe a /v/moderatorcensorship or something? It really doesn't do this sub any good to use it as a soapbox to complain about moderators of other subs. Just a request. I'm not trying to silence anyone. Just it would be better if it was all in one place where people could focus on it better and people here can focus on bigger things like aliens and government, police state... Do you know what I am saying?

Ispankdamonkey

Well probably due to the fact he/she knows who you guys are and you are raging Anti-Semites.. I know who you are, I knew who you were at reddit too.. You're not so bright thinking you have people fooled..

gatordontplaythatsht

Calling me an anti-Semite is absurd, i couldn't be further from it. I condemn any group or country that kills innocent children and people, as Israel is currently doing. How dare you attempt to smear me as racist because I wont stand for murder of innocent people.

*For the record I had the same user name at reddit, and none of my posting here or there have ever contained racism, exactly the opposite actually. This is a common tactic for anyone that says ANYTHING negative about Israel, and it wont work here.

Hipsterrr

If he explained himself it'd just be a bullshit answer.

TomOTom

What if the subscribers of a subverse could vote to force a mod out. If a moderator was being abusive, then he could simply be removed by popular opinion. This would incentivize the mods to be more receptive and cautious towards the community.

shmegegy

this sub and voat are under attack by trolls trying to poison it with antisemite - white supremist BS. we've seen it before from reddit mods who admit to doing it.

Genghis_Khan

Yup, it's here .

123_456

These modlogs were an ingenius idea!

MungFuSensei

Did you ever take a minute to think about what sub you're talking about? Is it a political platform for discussing Israel, or is it about discussing what happens on Reddit? Did you stop to think, "Hmmmm, maybe, just maybe, it's because there were 5 different links discussing the same thing?"

No, it has to be that the mod is a Jew lover and doesn't want lively discussion. Should we talk about Israel over in /v/mugs too? Israel has nothing to do with mugs, but I think we still need to spread the news of their wrongdoings where ever we can /s.

Grow up. Not everything is a nefarious plot. Oh, and deletions are absolutely fine, unless you like spammers and subs filled with off-topic discussion. We have public modlogs here.

skhin

Get rid of mods that do this crap. I want to read other views ... even if they don't align with my own.

EarnHerpesAskMeHow

I'm not the OP and can't answer the "what were you looking for" question. I can take a stab at the first question, though:

Warrior Forum is a dedicated site for people who are in to the whole SEO, affiliate programs and digital marketing/sales business thing. Essentially, you join up then spend hard dollars being taught how to sell ebooks and pamphlets to others about how to make hard dollars selling ebooks and pamphlets...you get the picture.

Actually, they do have some very good technical discussions about the vagaries of search engine ranking, placement and optimizations. It's not all "Get Rich Quick in the Internet Age" hokum.

Robotrollcall-

Oh nice an Internet pyramid scheme! How many people have you suckered.. I mean recruited underneath you?

EarnHerpesAskMeHow

The number may astound you: zero. Just because I happen to know what something is doesn't mean I participate in it.

AtheistComic

I've personally reported certain things to him that linked to a Skype address where users can get paid for votes. /u/Ghengis_Khan has actually said certain things will not be removed but if they break the rules they get removed. Give the guy a break. He's doing his best.

chrimata

Before this mod is crucified let's consider a few facts:

-The post in question is not on reddit and is a screenshot of an ad

-The title of the post reads like a spam advertisement

-The mod took the time to comment that it was being deleted for being off topic

Do you think it's possible that the mod looked quickly and judged based on the first two facts?

I'm sure they have a lot of posts to sort through.

It seems way more likely than the mod being involved in an Israeli led conspiracy.

I'm just glad that on voat we have a feature like this so we can judge independently

Nadrik

The point is he's full of shit. The deleted post was off topic, nothing more. Multiple threads about Israel on the front page confirm there is no bias.

comet4popeye

I think what voat really needs is a bad moderator sub once it really becomes a problem, if it even does.

It may not.

kuda

OP, how can a user report a mod? Or, what can we do so that things like this can stop?

Also, I think there is a more appropriate subverse for complains like this rather than /v/conspiracy

drifting

I have started a new subverse for documentaries: /v/docs . Anything is allowed to be posted there as long it abides by the site-wide rules. This is a free-speech zone and a multitude of ideas is welcome

AssuredlyAThrowAway

Nice catch, this is where @atko promised to step in and remove bad mods.

Mumberthrax

So far I found one post which was removed relating to Israel. https://voat.co/v/MeanwhileOnReddit/comments/311253

The moderator removed it because he thought it was off-topic. https://voat.co/v/MeanwhileOnReddit/comments/311253/1168736

@d23 pointed out elsewhere in this discussion that other posts with the same article have been left up, and gained a fair amount of votes: https://voat.co/v/Conspiracy/comments/323206/1239355

My supposition is that this was a normal human mistake. He did not realize the post was about reddit when he marked it off-topic. Though given that the other posts exist, I would not personally see an issue with removing this one since it is less informative than the other two posts, the title is clickbait-y and uninformative itself.

I am bothered by the swiftness with which some here have been calling for the moderator to be removed, before investigating the facts of the matter. We should be careful not to accept what a headline tells us, even if it is on /v/conspiracy . I encourage everyone to exercise critical thinking and invest a minute or two researching something before jumping onto a bandwagon.

Genghis_Khan

My supposition is that this was a normal human mistake.

This is correct. Well, technically. It should be understood that when a sub is even a fraction as busy as that one, the mod(s) simply aren't able to scrutinize every single word in every single link that is posted. It's just not possible. The link you posted in your comment (the one that was removed) had a title that was much too incendiary (and a flag went up). Additionally, it was an archive link to a website that was not reddit . It was unfortunately a victim of the checklist. The removal had zero to do with any people from any country.

I think this is an oft under-appreciated reality of fairly and objectively moderating anything, be it a subverse, a debate, etc. I simply cannot judge people's intentions or their politics against mine , whatever they may be, because chances are if I do I'll be wrong at least 50% of the time, and that's just not what's going on here. Case and point: Stay on topic and don't break the rules and your content won't be moderated.

A few more things that'll hopefully add some extra clarity. You and others who are actually thinking have already brought this up:

  • This post is a literal summary and boasts a link to the same thing that was previously removed. The title and text in the post clearly relate to reddit.
  • This post of a film documenting an attack carried out by Israel on an American vessel is clearly critical (and rightfully so) of Israel. This was a great post (oh, and it also clearly mentioned the comment graveyard found at its brother on reddit). I upvoated it.

All of this begs the question: What, if any, are the consequences for being a shit-flinging maladroit when it comes to uncovering nefarious acts by people who attempt to manipulate us? It's obvious that if you're the "shill" there are myriad problems when people find you out, but what of the false accusers? Is it really the case that we have to just accept that there will be "collateral damage" (to borrow a fucked up military term) in this "crusade" to bring light to this sort of thing? Had I been weak (but well intentioned) and replaced with some asshole that actually is what people are accusing me of being, do we accept this? (LOL, I doubt it) Yes, these are very much rhetorical questions, but I think they're worthy of consideration, even if only as a thought experiment.

Thanks to all of you who were reasonable and pushed back against the screamers and mud slingers. Let this tragic comedy demonstrate who it really is that we should be vigilant over. To those who are still up in arms and paranoid, I invite you to spam F5 on the mod logs of any subverse I happen to moderate, though I suspect you will be woefully bored (actually, be nice to the server, but check me none-the-less).

This song is oddly appropriate. Lyrics are in the description.

BeerBaron

Just wanted to comment- sorry you had to deal with rage drama. It's a shame that a sub that claims to foster critical thinking doesn't actually do that.

what of the false accusers?... Is it really the case that we have to just accept that there will be "collateral damage" ... in this "crusade" to bring light to this sort of thing?

Yaw. Y'all are evil, agenda-driven, shitlords. Duh. Why else would ya even want to mod a large sub anyway? Gawd! I can't believe I even have to explain this to you. (read it with a slight valley-girl accent, you'll enjoy it)

Seriously though, Reddit has tainted all mods in perpetuity. There are a fair number of shitlord mods over there- and those bad apples have ruined it for the rest of ya. Consider it the lovely by-product of internet anonymity and rage-culture. You opening up a public sub tacitly implies you're willing to deal with shitheads posting bullshit about you. Thems the breaks.

Thanks for popping in and clearing it up though, keep up the good work.

123_456

OK. I will give you the benefit of the doubt, since you took the time to explain.

Genghis_Khan

Thank you. I really appreciate that. Anyone who's interacted with me more than not at all should be able to tell that this is all some fabricated bullshit.

gatordontplaythatsht

Fabricated bullshit wouldn't have garnered such a response and support, you were censoring a topic people wanted on the sub, your bias is showing and people should unsub from your sub as you've shown an incapacity to moderate without bias.

Empire_of_the_mind

Wouldn't it be wise to avoid deleting a post that is already generating dozens of comments and dozens of votes? At that point the post has shown that it has VALUE and INTEREST to the sub. If you delete something when it's new for a reason like you offer there's no harm and no foul.

If you delete a post that is active you're censoring discussion.

Genghis_Khan

Wouldn't it be wise to avoid deleting a post that is already generating dozens of comments and dozens of votes?

Perhaps. But VALUE and INTEREST cannot simply be allowed to DICTATE what should be ALLOWED in subs that already HAVE RULES, even when those RULES are not PERFECTLY clear in EVERY instance. Had 1/3 of the people THROWING A FIT over perceived NONSENSE actually INSPECTED the subverse and the modlog this BULLSHIT would NOT HAVE TRANSPIRED. Feel me? Also:

If you delete a post that is active you're censoring discussion.

My honest thought on this is that it's just not true. Yes, the post doesn't appear on the sub's main page anymore. However, the post is still there. Anyone who wants to visit and post additional comments and have discussion is welcome to do so and there is nothing any mod can do about it. You can share the link and more people can come. It doesn't go away even when a real shithead mod is trying to censor. You have to admit it, the people pushing this issue are really just chasing a ghost that quite frankly, at least in the case of @Genghis_Khan and /v/MeanwhileOnReddit , is simply not there.

gatordontplaythatsht

So basically you'll delete as you please and we're all just looking for trouble by calling you out for it? Seems legit.

Empire_of_the_mind

why are RULES so important to you? serious question.

you say it's not on the "main page anymore." where is it, though? basically invisible. which is the point of deleting something to hide it.

no, I don't think they're chasing a ghost, I think they're doing god's work by sussing out manipulation of the site. This is widely known to happen and can be conducted by intelligence services, marketers, or PR firms. Each of those have an interest in shaping public awareness of certain topics and controlling "social media" such as this is a primary goal. When one behaves in a manner that suggests that they are, in the least, sympathetic to those goals one should expect to have to defend themselves.

In my estimation you have done a very poor job of defending your actions. Mostly you've gone with the ol' "move along, nothing to see here" tact, which is not going to cut it. You need to confront such things directly and address the issues being brought up in the accusations against you. If you are unable to do that we're left with the sense that maybe you've got something to hide.

No, it's not all so serious as this, but that's what the conversation is. If you directly address the key point here, which is that you're using deletions to limit communication on a certain topic, then it will go away, provided your future actions match those statements. It's not such a hard thing to do - give it a shot. and maybe relax on the "man behind the desk power" and err on the side of letting people talk about what they want to talk about despite some made-up rules. It's not a slippery slope and things aren't getting "out of hand" - we're talking about /v/meanwhileonreddit , which basically exists to quarantine all that dogshit in one place. Of course it's going to be repetitive and shrill - what did you expect?

gatordontplaythatsht

Yeah he's full of shit, I'd suggest people unsub from his sub immediately.

Genghis_Khan

Am I to conclude, then, that after inspection of the sub, the topic in question, my response above, and the prevalence of other threads on the same exact topic not being removed, that you still feel I'm deliberately and malevolently limiting discussion?

Empire_of_the_mind

No, you are meant to conclude that you haven't directly addressed the specific accusation. I think the best way to get everyone to go away is to suggest you have no intention of moderating to limit discussion of a particular topic. That seems to be what OP really cares about, after all.

I am sympathetic to being tired of the constant reposting of the Liberty story, but I think the case where shills were being recruited on a forum is one that could use a little reposting.

gatordontplaythatsht

Within the thread he shows a clear bias towards this topic, the removal, and other thread removals are unwarranted and bad moderation. i support calls for his removal and calls to create a similar sub without such heavy handed moderation.

Mumberthrax

Would you be willing to link to the instances where he demonstrates a clear bias towards the topic?

Did you try talking to him to find out why he removed it, before deciding that he should be removed/replaced?

Would that not seem to be the rational approach, rather than immediately jumping to the conclusion that he is a shill?

gatordontplaythatsht

I already linked them, and they're quite visible both in the thread, and through viewing the deleted posts.

Did you try talking to him to find out why he removed it, before deciding that he should be removed/replaced?

i believe the excuse was it had been posted before, ironic on a sub featuring mainly reposts...

Would that not seem to be the rational approach, rather than immediately jumping to the conclusion that he is a shill?

I did not call him a shill, I posted this due to censor ship of a topic.

Mumberthrax

I did not call him a shill, I posted this due to censor ship of a topic.

My mistake. In my defense, the idea seemed to be implied in the accusation of active censorship, and the accusation of shill gets thrown around a lot on topics relating to Israel.

I already linked them, and they're quite visible both in the thread, and through viewing the deleted posts.

I've looked through your comment history and see only links to the modlog for /v/meanwhileonreddit . If you'd be so kind as to humor me and link to the comments you refer to, i would appreciate it.

i believe the excuse was it had been posted before, ironic on a sub featuring mainly reposts...

Was this conversation via private message, or is there a link to it that we can view?

Mumberthrax

https://voat.co/v/MeanwhileOnReddit/comments/311253/1168736

He says it was off-topic. I think it was a normal mistake considering other posts about the same article were left up: https://voat.co/v/Conspiracy/comments/323206/1239355

Mumberthrax

https://voat.co/v/MeanwhileOnReddit/comments/311253/1168736

He says he removed it because it was off-topic. My assumption is that he didn't realize it was related to reddit. I personally don't think anything nefarious is going on here, genghis has been a good guy and has been here for quite a while.

Dantastic77

He removed a post of mine for a very stupid innocuous reason, im not a fan.

nokilli

Same here . Called it off-topic.

Mumberthrax

It sort of was off topic, though.

nokilli

Nobody ever heard of the glass cliff before Pao.

Besides, the subverse has all kinds of nonsense about the woman that passes the mod's smell test. She was enforcing her standards of taste on the community, and my submission was a test of that.

That's not what a moderator's job is.

Mumberthrax

Would you be willing to share the details or relevant links on that?

Dantastic77

It was zoe quinns real name. Which is public record, you can literally google it right now.

and yet?

Mumberthrax

I do not see any posts to /v/meanwhileonreddit in your submission history. Did you delete it after he removed it? Or does it get removed from your history as well if a mod deletes it...?

chrimata

I agree, people here are being way too quick to judge. That post title reads like a spam ad and then links to an archived ad

gabeh73

agreed...what can we do?

gatordontplaythatsht

Be constantly aware, and use the mod logs to support our claims as evidence. Some have suggested creating an alternate sub under a similar name, I would support that, but cannot do it myself as I'm moderating two subs already and expect both to be a handful when we gain more users.

sturle

One of my posts are gone. I have not deleted it. So who have? Go check the log before you post!

sturle

I was OP on one of them, and it disappeared.

You can not criticize Israel on Reddit, and you can not criticize it on Voat. Same shit, same shitty manipulation, just different wrapping.

nokilli

Very interesting... I was OP on one of them too, but since it's not about Israel or Jew it gets to stay?

whynotanon1

there is plenty of anti israel content here you must be blind. if you need more there is always 8ch. those guys do anti israel like no one else.

Staross

Make an anti-Israel sub, so you can mod it like you want.

Endfall

On a scale of one to "fuck this excuse", you, sir, are a winner. It isn't sufficient to say "just go make your own sub". That is precisely the excuse used on reddit that allowed things to get so damn bad to begin with. It was by pushing the idea that this was in any way a viable alternative to sane moderation practices that things managed to degenerate so far - because every shred of dissent was compartmentalised in it's own tiny box. This is how you make hiveminds. This is how you disguise total control of discourse as the freedom thereof. This is how you create a mindless community incapable of breaking itself out of its own blind alleys of thought, and me gusta, if you really, really want that, you can get all of it and more here.

We cannot afford to run our communities this way if we do not want to replicate reddit's every failure anew.

toobaditworks

Let's say for instance you like sticks. Lots of twigs and fallen branches. Mother nature's beauty. You post every day about how glorious sticks are. Look, a post about how this lonely branch fell to earth today after a baby squirrel ran up a tree. It's a gift from the gods of wood I tell yah.

Now imagine people weren't so keen on sticks and really didn't like them as much as you do. You complain on the forum "Man they are censoring my sticks. It's those damn moderators I tell ya!". But really in reality... nobody cares about the lonely sticks. Most people just walk on them, break them, burn them (bad analogy).

You know some of us just don't care about the sticks like you. So it might be time to come to terms with that and start you own stick sub. Where all the people who do care about your sticks will gather and discuss sticks. It might be the best thing you ever do.

Endfall

That is not comparable, and given how articulate you are, I think you know it. There's a difference between shitflooding a sub about, say video games, with hundreds upon hundreds of posts only concerning mario, and a moderator deleting something because they, personally do not like it.

toobaditworks

Yeah I see your point.

Staross

You need to move to another website then because voat works like reddit: people that creates subs are mod by default and can do what they want. I doubt this will change anytime soon.

RagnarDanneskjold

Agreed. Thank you for the well thought out post.

nullninja

Except we can actually get it under control here. Atko will come up with something if we don't.

comet4popeye

We sort of need a fatpeoplehate for Israel just to keep it all real.

I'm sure there are hundreds of anti-Arab subs between the two sites that nobody gives two shits about. When you tell people they can't do something, it becomes the only thing they want to do.

sturle

Fucking disgusting! Fuck this fucking fucker! Go die! Reddit scum!

alexalex1432

Here's his comment from the thread OP linked

https://voat.co/v/MeanwhileOnReddit/comments/310909/1166178

Also here's what the above linked comment says at the time of my comment

Please think before you post comment here. I don't care if you don't like them or what cultural or Internet institution you think they run, culture/race/nation/group attacks will come under heavy scrutiny from Rule 1 here and other threads on this topic. The comment modlog can be found in the sidebar.

gatordontplaythatsht

Op's post was purely informational and held no attacks against any race. That warning pre-empted a great many users coming in and stirring up a "anyone against Israel is an anti-Semite" shit storm. The mod displays an obvious bias, and has allowed it to effect his removals.

Empire_of_the_mind

Even if it did, the answer is not to DELETE the post. The answer is to click the down vote you so you can see that people reading it do not approve.

ProfKraken

I understand that mods should have extensive control of their subs, but censorship is what ruined reddit and it has to stop, now .

Empire_of_the_mind

Why should they?

Deleting posts is the number one mod crime and it should be restrained. They can design whatever they want but culling the topics allowed for discussion has little benefit. Let the people speak.

A mod can just as easily post their dissatisfaction in a topic - i would even consider letting mods "PIN" a comment within such topics explaining their disagreement.

smokeu

Someone has to leave the lights on for Jesus... Brink

gatordontplaythatsht

I didn't find it/wasn't ever there. I simply saw the topic removed and posted about it. You're really beginning to weird me out.

gatordontplaythatsht

I already answered I didn't post it, and didn't find it, you'd have to ask the original uploader...

alizure

You know what... im sick of that place, therefore im done with it. They shouldn't be doing things like that. I hope this place doesn't follow in their footsteps.

onlyinwisconsin

Mods have too much power. Part of the reason why reddit blows, and will be part of the reason if Voat goes the same way.

gatordontplaythatsht

Thank god for the logs, that way we have evidence to back us over here.

TheRedditExodus

He's posting about a link that was deleted and the contents of said link. He is not the person who posted the link, the person who went to the link initially, or even someone that used said forum. He cannot answer your questions any more than he already has.

haste

I call for that moderator to be removed immediatly. This is why left reddit.

Mumberthrax

It might be wise to check the facts before moving to such a rash decision. It seems the post was removed because it appeared to be off-topic. Perhaps the moderator made a mistake? Or maybe he's a hasbara shill. Either way, it appears to be only one post while others with the same article have been left up on the same subverse.

Empire_of_the_mind

It has 34 votes up - clearly not off topic to the USERS OF THE SUB. that should be enough reason to leave it be. It's not as though it's causing some kind of problem to leave it there.

Delete new posts with not activity that clutter things - leave what is being discussed.

Anytime you take an ACTIVE discussion and make it disappear you're doing everyone a disservice and engaging in censorship.

sturle

The scum moderators are leaving Reddit too. They come here to fuck up Voat. Fuck them!

oaken

Why the hell does this thread have 100 upvotes? Take a look at the modlog, there are no signs of "censorship". I understand the fear of powermods is amplified on voat but seriously guys?

gatordontplaythatsht

If you'd take the time to look at the deleted links you'd know you were wrong.

oaken

I have.

gatordontplaythatsht

Take a look at the modlog, there are no signs of "censorship"

Please explain to me the removals of all of these then, and specifically the one about Israel, and before you say it was a repost, what about the other constant reposts on that very sub? Why does he not delete those?

TheOneAndOnlyCrumpet

  1. The first deletion could be reasonable. It links to an archive of unrelated people on an unrelated site offering to pay people to downvote. In no way is that reflective of the shit storm that is reddit.

  2. The second deletion is of a horse fucking. Not only is that NSFW and not marked as such, but it's literally unrelated to this subreddit.

  3. Is exactly the same as the original, but just in screenshot form.

  4. Not related to reddit, it's somebody plugging their subverse.

ect ect ect.

There is no conspiracy here, you're just looking for one.

Coroner

How is it not related to Reddit?

TheOneAndOnlyCrumpet

How is it?

Lot's of people offer money to sabotage sites, it's not reflective of anything the site is actually doing.

Samis

This is why public moderation logs are excellent.

darkrxn

Like cop body cams, public moderation logs may cut down on the number of complaints of abuse of authority. It doesn't matter if it is because authorities are on better behavior or if complainers know frivolous accusations will not succeed. The result is far fewer complaints against authority, it is a win for authority and a win for the subjects.

shh_coffee

It seriously is. Having mod actions out in the open like that is a great transparency tool for the community.

nullninja

Can't pull that shit on Voat and have it go unnoticed

gatordontplaythatsht

Amen to that.

luckypunk

Of course. If he removes 500 threads about evil things Israel does, it's an open and shut case.

If he deletes a single thread, we might want to ask him first for his reasons before bringing the pitchforks and torches. He might have a legitimate reason for this deletion.

internet_nomad

I believe we are on the same boat on this one just difference of opinion on how it should sail.

I left reddit because of the censorship too. I just feel that people should create the subs they want and mod it how they feel. Those who want that information or believe in that vision will go to it. I am happy that you exposed this and wish that the lurkers and other members would use their voice to get the mods to change but if they don't then the only solution is to create your own zone. Power, manipulation and censorship is worldwide and used everywhere, the only place you could control it is somewhere that you mod/rule. Best of luck with everything!

carlip

Hey that's the same prick that deleted my comment about trying to dox the people who are DDoSing voat, then he made up a rule and threatened to ban anyone asking the same questions.

This guys deserves to be stripped of Mod powers because he obviously using them inappropriately.

gatordontplaythatsht

I'm calling out censorship on a subverse.

Robotrollcall-

Why does this guy seem so intense about the exact sub? I'd be weirded out too..

internet_nomad

If you don't like the way someone mods a specific sub then make your own. I don't like censorship and believe everyone should be able to say what they want and debate issues but every mod is entitled to moderate how he wants within his sub. The freedom that voat gives you is to create a sub to speak freely and post what you want.

gatordontplaythatsht

I call out censorship when I see it.

internet_nomad

Yeah and I would agree that people show know when things are being cenosored. It is good of you to make it known but when you say

This is exactly the type of thing that should be expressly forbidden on voat.

You are advocating for a change of rules and that was what I was talking about. Yeah let people know that things are being censored but you can't say they don't have the right to, if they mod the sub.

gatordontplaythatsht

Censoring topics based on a personal bias should not be allowed on voat as it goes directly against the sites aim of free speech within legality. I'm not asking for a new rule, I'm asking that voat protects it's vision of free speech.

gatordontplaythatsht

I am not the person who found that forum, or posted it initially, you'd need to ask them.

Tacklebox

Hhahah! Nice..just found a post of mine that he deleted. (It deserved to be deleted though...it was off topic.)

gatordontplaythatsht

He's deleted entire sotries/links that people have posted:

https://voat.co/v/meanwhileonreddit/modlog/deleted

If you'd read this from my main post you'd know that, this same link is up there...

gatordontplaythatsht

Here's the directions they posted to a group of people they pay to post on social media: We have a paid reddit group. Essentially you will be required to upvote/downvote reddit threads that we post and also do that for comments. The threads will be posted in our Skype group and will mostly be from one subreddit ( r/worldnews )

Pay will be $1/per thread that we post. This involves upvoting/downvoting thread and upvoting/downvoting comments as well. We will give you full instructions once you join. It would only take a few minutes of your time, and you will get an easy $5 per day if you do this for five threads, and a $10 limit per user per day.

It's preferred if you are available between 9-3 Israeli time(GMT +3), but we will be posting threads 24 hrs a day so we are flexible as long as you are on skype a few hours per day.

If you're interested: Contact me via skype at lenoraavraham.

Spots are limited and this post will be Updated/Deleted once we are full.

This is what he is deleting? Has it been verified as false because last I saw someone had skyped with that woman in the ad and got her to say some stuff. She noped out when he started trying to reason with her in Hebrew.

PrivateJoker

He's already threatened to ban me a few times for talking about that Dworkin cunt from reddit that caused the voat paypal debacle.

gnosticpostulant

He deleted one of my comments about Dworkin, too, though I didn't get a ban threat.

PrivateJoker

He told me i was doxxing because I said the name dworkin was a play on his last name and had no relation to the feminist with the same name lol

gnosticpostulant

I didn't get a reason. Just a deletion notification.

Decius

proof please?

PrivateJoker

it shouldn't be too far back in my post history, happened like 2 weeks ago. I just remember i replied with "do i care if i get banned from MoR? Not really"

edit: https://voat.co/v/MeanwhileOnReddit/comments/187798/541850

Decius

"Meh, i'll live if i get banned for it. Little cunt took it to real life by messing with this website's finances it would suck if someone contacted his employer ;)"

I mean... Honestly you kind of come off as a whiny bitch after reading your history... You did this cute little threat that just... I don't think ill argue it actually.

PrivateJoker

I didn't know being a whiny little bitch was a reason to threaten someone with a ban

gatordontplaythatsht

He's obviously compromised and holds bias' that makes his moderation of that sub inappropriate. I'm personally going to unsub and I suggest everyone else do the rest, there's no need to come over from reddit to avoid this and support a mod over here on that same level. I wont, but it might be better if somebody just made a similarly titled sub as an alternate.

PrivateJoker

Lets just make a new sub that does the same thing. Fuck him. I think he mods that sub solo too, obviously he's some sort of control freak

gabeh73

how an we affect the known shill?

comet4popeye

There are going to be people that come over here to sabotage voat. Mods especially. Whether this is the first case or not, keep your eyes open. Saboteurs will come and I'm sure many are already here.

There will also be the same people defending these guys in threads like this one.

sturle

He is obviously one of them.

Kiwibomb

down voat him into oblivion? Also an option?

Tleilaxu_Ghola

Not if one does not have 100 CCP yet :-(

I am almost there though.

The archived link he deleted was the one about Israel shills.

Turbo_Sloth

I personally get really annoyed by Mods banning topics even when I don't like the post being banned. Why can't you even discuss it?

I mean like, I'm pro-Israel (get yer pitchforks) but I'm willing to discuss with people who disagree with me, even when it's vitriolic and misinformed... I don't see how attempting to stifle or manipulate discussion lends to any increased understanding.

Maximilian

Dun see nuttin dere.

Did he restore the comments after you posted this?

gnosticpostulant

It was probably deleted before the modlog became active. A comment of mine that he deleted isn't showing up either.

Nadrik

Yea, I don't see shit regarding Israel in either the comment or submission delete log.

gatordontplaythatsht

I have no idea, they were showing before....

Here: https://voat.co/v/meanwhileonreddit/modlog/deleted

The archived link is the one about shills for Israel.
