I have thought about leaving too. I'm not sure that is the best idea though. My family is here and we have been here since 1621. I kinda hate to just leave without a fight first. The question I have is how do we regain control. This country is worth the effort in my opinion.

Simple, stop voting. Every time a single vote is cast for any so-called US representative, it justifies its existence and remains in power. Once we all stop voting, other countries will also loose confidence in the current power structure and stop doing its bidding. It will be forced to leave and a new form of government can be created.

I seriously doubt this.

I think that maybe to problem is that not enough of us actually vote. And when we do vote, we pull the lever for one of two parties that in reality both serve the same master (and it aint us) Yes the vote is rigged. We need to change how we vote and how we count votes. We need to get $$ out of elections. We need to stop pretending that corporations are people and deserve a voice in our government. We need lots of changes, but not participating at all only serves the interest of those who are already in control.

Yep, I'm up in the air over what to call it at this point. Is it a plutocracy , an oligarchy , or something else? I don't believe that it is a representative republic any longer.
