the people on the outside are all still in the closet, only once they got locked inside the closet, they came out the closet, its a liberating experience. theyre in a closet inside a closet. a closet full of suggestive holes.

I assume the prevalence of homosexual behavior in prisons is simply due to lack of women. In the same way, long sea voyages (especially in the age of sail) had higher prevalence of homosexual behavior, but you wouldn't assume it takes a degenerated brain to become a sailor.

If locked up with a goat would you fuck a goat? If locked up with your mom would you fuck your mom? If locked up with a child would you fuck the child? If locked up with a corpse would you fuck the corpse?

So if you are straight, why would you fuck a guy just because you were locked up with one?

DeliciousOnions

I think you're downplaying the desperation of not getting laid for long periods, and the fluidity of human sexuality.

First of all, everything that you compared gay sex to (bestiality, incest, pedophilia, necrophilia) have strong evolutionary reasons not to engage in.

I'm not defending faggotry in its current social form, but I'm just saying - sexual attraction is fluid. Surround a guy with other guys and eventually some will be ready to fuck.

clamhurt_legbeard

The OP posits that homosexuality increases the likelihood of being a criminal, since criminals show an increased likelihood towards homosexual behavior.

Are you saying being gay increases your likelihood of being a farmer?

Conspirologist

Faggot. For normal men it's disgusting.

trevmon

normal men ok, but in prison it is mostly black men, and the lowest of the lows IQs.

clamhurt_legbeard

Sailing?

Being away from women for a year straight?

Conspirologist

Fuck off, faggot.

clamhurt_legbeard

Ok, but that doesn't address the weakness of your original claims in any way.

Can you explain why there would be a similar correspondence in increased homosexuality on long sailing voyages but no causal relationship between brain damage and the desire to sail?

If not, your original post looks dumb.

trevmon

i think you do have to be brain damaged to want to sail, get in a boat with just dudes for long voyages with just dudes.

"Call me Ishmael. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me on shore, I thought I would sail about a little and see the watery part of the world. It is a way I have of driving off the spleen and regulating the circulation. Whenever I find myself growing grim about the mouth; whenever it is a damp, drizzly November in my soul; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before coffin warehouses, and bringing up the rear of every funeral I meet; and especially whenever my hypos get such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from deliberately stepping into the street, and methodically knocking people's hats off- then, I account it high time to get to sea as soon as I can. This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the ship. There is nothing surprising in this. If they but knew it, almost all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same feelings towards the ocean with me. "

I, for one, am glad we had brave, brain damaged explorers finding new lands to conquer.

trevmon

yeah all major discoveries are from driven insane men, we only have human intelligence because of random mutations
