The US should never have invaded Afghanistan or Iraq. It should not have troops in the Middle East. It is there only because it is being used like a bitch by Israel. That's the only reason. There is no way to justify American actions in Afghanistan. If there was reason to believe that the terrorists who staged 9-11 were holded up in Afghanistan, a strike force could have been sent in to destroy their base, and that would have been the end of it. The endless occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq never needed to happen.
