There was a 4.0 this morning, maybe they just fucked it up or wanted attention.

that

No one would call a 4.0 a massive earthquake. The most it would do is drop a picture frame from the wall. Sucks to be in one, but it's not massive by any means. 9.0, on the other hand, will destroy half the city. Here is a 7.8 for ya .

ok cool - well maybe i guess that's the "positive view" but this report says:

LA has had an average of 13 earthquakes a day for the past year, but today there have been 30+. Any ideas of what's happening?

so maybe nothing ? maybe something to keep in mind?

It just said "Bay Area" do you know how many "bay area's" there are? This doesn't even have to be in CA. It could have been a real Earthquake in some foreign "Bay Area".

that

When you say Bay Area in the US you mean San Francisco Bay Area . If it was any other part of the world, it would be indicated as such. Besides, a real 9.0 anywhere in the world would make headline news worldwide for a couple of days and there have been none.

They definitely mean a massive earthquake on the west coast of US. Another question is how and why did it slip.

Vvswiftvv17

That's not true AT ALL. Only people who live in the San Francisco Bay Area would think that (I lived there for six years, you guys live in a pretty big narcissist bubble). Here is a list of other "Bay Areas" in the U.S., most with links referring to them as such:

Chesapeake Bay http://www.greatamericancountry.com/places/local-life/what-its-like-to-live-in-the-chesapeake-bay-area

Tampa Bay http://www.fodors.com/world/north-america/usa/florida/the-tampa-bay-area

Massachusetts "the bay state"

"Bay Area" - San Diego Bay/Mission Bay

"South Bay" for Long Beach - http://www.latourist.com/index.php?page=museum-links-long-beach

that

I suppose. Regardless, there certainly has not been a 9.0 earthquake anywhere on Earth in a while. A 9.0 anywhere in the US would be devastating and news for days, yet they are reporting one that has not happened.

is the 'Bay Area' the one that CBS is talking about in that other link? i'm not from USSA

Because somebody looked at the station's viewer ratings, and said, "Ho Lee Fuk! Wi Tu Lo!"
