I'm not aware of any reason why Iran would conduct terrorist attacks on strategic resources during the eve of the US powers that be are trying to stir up support to attack Iran.

I mean it's literally Assad gassing his own people just hours after the US states its plans to withdraw. It makes no sense.

I'm open to hearing the reasons, but I better see Iran's self interests for doing so in those reasons, not some bullshit "they're a terrorist state".
