It's not "regulatory capture" when the regulators were put in place so only the conglomerated corporations can afford to comply with increasing regulations. They do it gradually so it isn't obvious Big Pharma birthed the FDA for example, even though it is obvious.

SavageSeasons

Nice graphic illustrating the problem clearly.

Companies took over the government bodies designed to regulate them

The problem is obvious though. Take something like healthcare. You have a crazy convoluted system in place that almost nobody completely understands. The only experts in this field you can find are people that worked in these companies for a couple decades. If you have an agency that needs to employ experts in their niche, the only people you can really find are these people.

The solution is obvious to me: there shouldn't be a system that can be controlled and manipulated in the first place. Let prices and markets distribute goods and resources to where they're needed. This system cannot be corrupted, controlled, or manipulated.

ForTheUltimate

The solution is more government.

I want to see human suffering on the scale of 6 gorillion billion. Not enough venetards died.

Finally someone else picking up on the impacts of regulatory capture!

Now apply that to politics and social groups and you'll understand a bit of where we're at. Regulatory capture can broadly be explained as a method by which relatively small groups exercise outsized political influence due to their small size. This happens because the benefit gained by the minority group is very high while the loss to the majority group is relatively small and spread out over a large group and generally tolerated.

It explains the LGBTQ... groups seizing control of the institution of marriage, church, adoption, bathrooms, etc.

It explains the disparity in government money going to minority racial groups versus majority racial groups.

It explains (partially) outsized Jewish influence and support of Israel.

Broadly, "minority groups" in the United States and the West have used regulatory capture as a means to expand their group interests. The democrat party then weaponized this. They understood that by collecting these disparate parties into a larger group they could seize control of the U.S., and they did.

However, this is when regulatory capture begins to fail. Regulatory capture relies on the concept that the minority group benefits greatly while the majority group is only slightly inconvenienced. However, when you bound all of these minority groups together and go further and further to the extreme, the net cost of those policies to the majority become so high that they cannot allow them to continue.

This is where we are at now.

Why are there some White names hidden amongst all of these Jewish ones? This isn't good for Israeli politics!

Oh, you're not talking about Israel? My mistake...
