Anybody still dubious about Voat being a honeypot? There are shills who look like under effect of heavy drugs, also there is a pedophile spammer who spams unpunished everywhere. Am I the only normal person here?

I don't stray too far from the popular subverses so I haven't been exposed to that shit at all. I've just seen the comments of people warning others or discussing the issue. But even so, how does a spammer of vile shit evidence of Voat being a "honeypot"? A shilling effort to subvert or dissuade people from using the site doesn't make it a honeypot by any normal definition.

Yes, of course. Voat is a honeypot. It was created for us to share our opinions and thus out ourselves to 'deplatforming' or 'unpersoning' in the near-future.

There are also obvious agent provocateurs on the site making you (if you're a dumbass) think you can call for violence and not get a visit from the police.
