You can infer a lot of truth about events and key figures from Wikipedia, as evidenced by the Conspiracy research done by Miles Mathis (here is his PDF on Castro )

Batista bad. Overthrow good.

Is Castro some kind of Hitler? As a lawyer he just ups and gets stuff done like this practically overnight? RECRUITS 1,200 PEOPLE PRACTICALLY OVERNIGHT? (ahem MERCENARIES) The gov fails to eliminate him and his grass-roots militia before being overthrown?

Guantanamo Bay Naval (Air) Base (Founded 1898)

Just look at the size of Guantanamo Bay. How is Cuba an independent nation much less in the Russian-sphere with a base that gigantic? Notice also the article says OVER 8,500 sailors and Marines (not even mentioning the ratio between them). Where were these guys during the Bay of Pigs Invasion (1,500 "paramilitary" civilians)!?

Do I really need to comment? Focus on the whole thing: this history makes absolutely no sense. Why would Batista basically hand over power to Castro like this? Do you honestly think if this had been you that you wouldn't have gotten the death sentence for trying to overthrow the government, much less released from prison due to political pressure ?!
