The Straits of Hormuz are not an Iranian lake at all, not with Saudi, the UAE and Omani navies around, and not counting any western forces there.

The Port of Rotterdam and Oman are building a huge container port and refinery on the Indian ocean coast of Oman, the port of Duqm. The Eastern Yemeni one is a "me too" build by Saudi, they are running out of oil and can't afford the fees the Omanis will levy on them. Financed by the Chinese.
