No, and I say this because of one guy. I think it's bunk in general, but this guy was an Army vet who calibrated artillery equipment. The shells these things would fire would travel 10-20 miles in the air. The calibrations would take everything into effect...range, wind velocity, blah blah.

He claimed that because the shells would travel so far and with such long flight times, the pieces should have had to take into account the rotation of the earth--no matter which direction you were firing. And yet, they didn't, and their accuracy was scary good.

That book came out in 2014 before the peak happened although he did write some other flat earth books around 2018 which saw a peak in that year on the topic. Eric Dubay has had his channel shut down multiple times. If you search for “Flat Earth” all you will get is anti-Flat earth “debunking” official narrative videos.

Many of the videos I used to easily find to expose NASA fakery such as on the ISS are now impossible to find unless you can remember the exact title, and many have been outright removed.

Anyone can go to the subverse v/NASALies which I used to contribute to — at least half the videos there are dead links now because of NASA censorship.

There are zero commercial flights that ever fly over Antarctica. Flight paths that are flown are in line with a flat Earth so airlines and pilots don't have to be in on it. I've searched for the path of an eclipse that hasn't happened yet. I've seen real time data for a forest fire happening in the hills near my house which came from a satellite in orbit. I've researched the history of different types of map projections. I've been above the Arctic circle and experienced 24+ hours of daylight.

Same here. I was not receptive to Flat Earth even after figuring out Apollo was fake. One thing that made me decide there may be something to it is the vitriol and total dismissal of the topic. Even if you don’t believe in it, it’s fascinating, worthy of discussion, and provides a worthwhile thought experiment. But you never see it promoted even on conspiracy forums.

I also realized that faking the moon landings just to look cool was a wholly insufficient reason to do it, let alone to keep the lie alive for so long. If there weren’t a bigger lie being concealed, they could eventually admit it was fake and go there for real to make amends. But they can’t go there, ever.

Crazy-flat-earthers will claim that the sun gets larger the higher it climbs in the sky and smaller as it approaches the horizon. They are then assuming that it is getting closer to us (since it is getting larger). They will even show videos to prove this is happening. Of course, what is actually happening is that the atmosphere blocks more of the sun's light as the sun gets lower on the horizon (since the sunlight is now hitting at an angle, and thus traveling through more of the atmosphere, allowing that additional atmosphere to block more of the light rays from the sun).

So, that is why we ask them about the moon. The moon does not cast as much light, and with the proper settings on the camera, you can clearly see the moon does not change size as it moves over the sky, thus proving that the moon is incredibly far away. However, if the moon is incredibly far away AND the earth is flat, then the moon should NEVER dip below the horizon. But it does dip below the horizon; thus, flat-earthers are wrong. (in a nutshell)
