My understanding is that the plan is for any company having 1/8th the traffic of the internet... or something to that effect. Meaning the large platforms would face the loss of their platform status if they "curate" (censor) to much of their content.

Mixed feelings about this. It could be used as a weapon against big social media if they don't follow the dictates handed down. But it would encourage small platfroms.

What stinks is the bipartisan support for the "copyright control act" and the red flag laws being pushed.

Its always about the loss of liberty, and never about getting back those liberties. It stinks, and part of me wants to see the US political power system crumble, but I know it would only allow another state dictator to wage war on America to take over.

It's a constant battle to simply be left alone.

This reminds me of the Tudor reign of England, Protestants vs Catholic and the religion allowed was whatever the succeeding ruling class happened to be. The wheel of history, always repeating itself.
