You don't measure cement in gallons. Who the fuck wrote this article? 2000 gallons equates to just under 10 cubic yards, cubic yards being the proper US scale for this.

Yeah, I just read it and came to the same conclusion. That mixer can only do 4 yards at a time anyway. That's not enough mix to fill tunnels.
