It doesn't matter what goes into you - it's what comes out of you that makes you what you are.

Does Anyone Ever Really Been Far Even without Deciding to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?

FacelessOne

The ability to quickly change states of mind and think about a varying degree of ideas is the creative aspect showing through.

Everybody is different and metabolizes organics differently.

People Ive seen who were Medicated as children typically have a crashing point around 20 and shift from their childhood medication of adderall and other meds to alcohol and usually commit suicide wheras those who shift to weed typically slow down and mature, get married and have kids while not drinking themselves to death. Or becoming trans fags

Civil_Warrior

Marijuana is just like a gun. It's all about how when and who is using it. Kids don't finish brain development until 21 so you give up part of your brain that will never develop if you use drugs. Most of the issues with marijuana abuse are actually symptoms of a failed world view coupled with a failed world. You don't solve anything by removing the weed if there's no wisdom and discipline coupled with self worth to fill the void.

A smart kid is going to figure out the world is fucked up sooner so ironically it's some of the sharper kids that pull some of the dumbest shit as rebellion.

SomeoneSquishy

This dude's got the right idea.

Not_a_redfugee

I sort of believe this because I have smoked a good amount in the past also. But it's not like anyones done a legit study on a thesis like that, so you're pretty much just being silly. Maybe because you're high.

SomeoneSquishy

Yeah... that's not how marijuana works.

CornyGoatWeed

I think that the OP is basically entirely correct.

Civil_Warrior

Psychological dependence resulting in a frail mind when sober is a common issue. Hilariously, it's not the weeds fault...it's the individual who is unable to handle it .

Conspirologist

I have some years of experience. Who the fuck are you?

SomeoneSquishy

A guy with years of experience that doesn't buy into the hippy spiritual bullshit typical potheads try to shovel on us. Yeah, pot does some great things, but dont be fucking retarded and try to say it's some miracle mind-altering, life-changing experience.

Conspirologist

Yes, it is. If you and people you smoke with all have high iQ.

Civil_Warrior

If you have ever had a gun in your hand ready to kill and a friend smokes a joint with you...well, you realize it is a miracle in certain situations.

nosejobsforequality

not too far off... pot opens your mind to other ways of interpreting things. Totally makes one more likely to question what one's being told/taught.

IIJOSEPHXII

Yeah but five minutes later you've forgotten what you were thinking about.

nosejobsforequality

have you no recall? no focus?

IIJOSEPHXII

When I smoke weed I can have a brilliant thought about God or the Universe, and condense it down to a sentence that is perfect in its simplicity. Then five minutes later I'm like, "Aw! What was that again?"

nosejobsforequality

I've never had that problem with weed... and I smoked very heavily for 15+ years (and socially many years since).

Thetiedyeguy

I find the opposite though, they don't think of anything critically other than the (((games))) and (((entertainment media))) they consume while high. They collect welfare, pass it to their dealer, spend the rest on junk food and tell you to chill out if you want them to stop.

nosejobsforequality

low IQ people who would do that anyway?

I've met hundreds (maybe thousands) of pot-smokers and the overwhelming majority are very successful and intelligent. (of course to be fair, most of the people with whom I have more than a superficial interaction are usually successful and intelligent)

Thetiedyeguy

I agree, IQ has more to do with capacity to think critically than pot or not.

nosejobsforequality

but the pot (in someone capable of critical thought) encourages additional criticism.... Additional angles from which one wouldn't naturally perceive things. In my opinion both cannabis and natural psychedelics are very beneficial tools. I've smoked pounds and pounds of cannabis in my day and tripped probably 100 times between mushrooms, acid, dmt abd dxm and everyone I met who pursued the latter substances possessed at least superior if not genius intelligence.
