Call me a conspiracy theorist, but this just seems like theatre, to me. And even some kind of nod to Qanon , ironically.

There is no reference to this make-believe island prior to this "strike" (e.g., there is no such name listed in Google Maps). The name is totally made-up for the purpose of this drama.
