The fuck is wrong with both of you? There was a direct link to the AP article. You read it, you then use the few gray cells in your head, and you should be able to puzzle the pieces together. It's not that hard.

From AP:

1) They said the last known case from a wild strain of the virus in the Philippines was in 1993. Wild poliovirus type 2 was declared globally eradicated in 2015.

2) The weakened virus used in vaccines replicates for a short time in children’s intestines and is excreted in their feces . In rare instances, they said, the weakened virus can strengthen in areas with poor sanitation and hygiene. Children who have not been properly immunized can be susceptible .

3) WHO and UNICEF said in a joint statement the polio outbreak in the Philippines is concerning because it is caused by vaccine-derived poliovirus type 2 .

TLDR; 1) They declared wild polio eradicated. 2) They started vaccinating. 3)The vaccine is spreading polio. 4) Their solution is to vaccinate even more.

It is antivax bulshit clickbaiting fear-porn. The entire point of the article is that there sre a handful of cases left of a disease that killed tens of thousands and left hundreds of thousands paralyzed each year, before the vaccine nearly eradicated it.
